Dr.Obaid Al-Abdali

Dr.Obaid is a distinguished Saudi academic and public figure, whose career blends education, industry, and public service. Holding a Ph.D. in marketing from Manchester Business School, he has been instrumental in shaping the marketing landscape in Saudi Arabia, founding the nation's first marketing association and driving impactful initiatives at leading institutions.

Since 1992, Obaid has also hosted a weekly Sunday gathering, a forum that brings together ministers, scholars, and leaders from various fields to discuss and share insights on issues shaping the nation. His dedication to fostering dialogue and exchange has made this gathering a respected tradition in the community.

Appointed to the Shura Council in 2016, Ubaid’s contributions extend to various influential boards, including the Saudi Credit Bureau and the Public Investment Fund's Center for Corporate Governance. His passion for advancing marketing in the Arabic language drives him to leave a meaningful legacy, inspiring future generations and enriching the field for years to come.
